how to know which to select, upper or lower? I am clenching my jaws and a lot of jaw pain

Deciding between an upper or lower custom teeth night guard is a matter of preference. Wearing a custom night guard on either the upper or lower teeth will protect both sets of teeth. Most customers do order a night guard to be made for their upper teeth. Upper teeth night guards tend to be more comfortable and do not impinge on the tongue as much as a lower guard.
