With the gum irritation on the lower teeth is would be best to order an upper custom dental guard. Uppers tend to be more comfortable too and do not impinge on the tongue as much as a lower would.
I am grinding my teeth and causing irritation on a lower molar gum area. Should I order an upper or lower guard?
