which guard is suitable for wearing during daytime? I need to protect against teeth grinding during the day.

The thinner 1mm or 2mm custom dental guards are the best option for daytime use. We offer the soft guard in a thinner 2mm option and the hard custom night guards in either 1mm or 2mm option. The 1mm hard dental guard is very thin like a teeth retainer or Invisalign tray. It is very hard to notice while wearing since it is thin and crystal clear. This dental guard is also the easiest to speak while wearing the guard. With any of our custom night guards, we also offer the front cut customization which is an excellent option to add especially for daytime use. The front-cut customization makes that guard a lot more comfortable.
