Whether you select an upper or lower night guard is a matter of personal preference; either one will provide an effective barrier between teeth, and only one night guard is needed. We sell about 2/3 uppers to 1/3 lowers, so there seems to be a customer preference for uppers. If your teeth are worn down on either the upper or lower, you will get a clearer and more concise impression from the teeth that aren't as worn. Thus, you may wish to select a custom teeth night guard for the teeth in better condition.
