How is it different from the acrylic guard

How is it different from the acrylic guard. It says it’s 3mm and most durable but I wear a hard one now and I’m not sure that the 3mm is hard material

The 3mm Extra Durable guard is a medium firmness guard that is not too hard or too soft. and is flexible It is very durable yet comfortable. The 3mm Hard Acrylic night guard is very hard, rigid and is not flexible.
