To clean your night guard, we recommend using our Oral Guard Night Guard Cleaner and Disinfectant or our new PearlDent Dental Guard Foaming Cleaner. Both are highly effective at cleaning and sanitizing your night guard, and they can be used daily. Instructions are provided on the product. It is also acceptable to use other over-the-counter dental cleaners for dentures, such as Efferdent®, a vinegar and hydrogen peroxide treatment, or even mouthwash.
It is important to store your night guard in a sanitized case, so make sure you clean the case on a regular basis also. At the same time, why not sanitize your toothbrush? You can use your night guard cleaner for this also.
