Can the teeth whitening trays be used to protect teeth from grinding after we're done using them for whitening?
I grind my teeth at night. My dentist says it isn't bad enough to need a guard, but I wake up with jaw pain so I want help. I've benefited from using a cheap OTC mouth guard that you heat up in water and then bite into so it forms to the teeth. But they're quite bulky. I'm wondering if the trays you make for our whitening process will work as a mouth guard after I'm done with whitening.
Additionally, I notice that most whitening products are less expensive when one buys 2 or 3 kits. It begs the question: how many treatments must I have before I see results, and will I need to repeat the process regularly? I don't drink coffee or dark sodas (only half diet 7Up half water).
